Adult Bible Study Classes in March, April and May will be on “Teachings on Community” through the old testament books of Jonah and Ruth and through the teachings of Jesus and the early church. Jonah deals with a mission to a community and the redemption of that community. Ruth focuses on the family as a community with the need to survive and be accepted in the larger community. Jesus’ teachings on community deals with light, love connectedness, and a feast. We will also be learning about “Teachings of the Church” through Colossians, Philemon and Jude. Lessons from Colossians focus on the faithfulness of the community and how the community was established and chosen. The lesson from Philemon explores welcoming in the community, and the lesson from Jude examines a community at risk. Come learn with us how to be a better community in the
